“Who can find a capable wife? She is far more precious than jewels.”(Proverbs 31:10)
Brothas, stop trippin’. You out there chasing wealth, like a rat on a wheel. Like:
“Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For everything that belongs to the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle — is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does God’s will remains forever.” (1 John 2:15-17)
And let’s not forget:
“But godliness with contentment is a great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.” (1 Timothy 6:6-10)
Can’t you be content with having enough to provide for yourself and a spouse? A woman who loves Jesus won’t care if you’re stackin’. She won’t care about luxury and jewels.
“Your beauty should not consist of outward things like elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold ornaments or fine clothes. Instead, it should consist of what is inside the heart with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very valuable in God’s eyes. For in the past, the holy women who put their hope in God also beautified themselves in this way, submitting to their own husbands …” (1 Peter 3:3-5)
Men, do you forget in the beginning God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper as his complement.” (Genesis 2:18)
Women are a gift to help you! From my experience, many women talk more than men, hence, we pray more. We can cover you like no brother in The Lord will. We can cook and clean and take care of you. A wife can bond with you and know you more intimately than any other human-being on the planet.
If you love Jesus first, and keep Him as Lord of your life, and find a woman with the same heart, you will have an incredibly beautiful marriage and you both will help each other in ways you’ve never been helped before. You become a team, two people now backing one another up for God’s glory. A double threat to the enemy and his demons.
Wealth is fleeting, and:
“Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)
A godly wife is way more valuable than temporary riches. Pray about it, and know that:
“A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 18:22)
