Sisters, Are You Ready For Christ’s Return?

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom. Five of them were foolish and five were sensible. When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take olive oil with them. But the sensible ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps. Since the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “In the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’ “Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. But the foolish ones said to the sensible ones, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ “The sensible ones answered, ‘No, there won’t be enough for us and for you. Go instead to those who sell, and buy oil for yourselves.’ “When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived. Then those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut. “Later the rest of the virgins also came and said, ‘Master, master, open up for us! ’ “But he replied, ‘I assure you: I do not know you! ’ “Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭1-13‬)

Sisters, Christ is closer to coming than ever before. With all the madness happening in the Middle East, with His people Israel, and even all the pervading evil in our own country, Christ is near.

I pray that we all shed the distractions, that even our time on Facebook would be useful and not wasteful.

I pray we don’t get caught up with what enraptures the world, but that we fix our mind on Jesus.

I pray we do as the Word says and pursue righteousness. That we hunger and thirst for it so we may be filled.

I pray we allow ourselves to be completely sanctified, a chaste, pure bride ready for our Groom, Jesus Christ.

I pray if there is any sin in your life that you stop letting it have dominion over you and rely on the power of Christ to help you defeat it. I pray you do what the bible says: kill your flesh. May whatever is worldly in you die, and may holiness take its place.

Nothing in this world is going to remain when Christ comes. The only thing He said wouldn’t pass away is His Word. What He says will come to fruition. Let us not be foolish, but wise and prepared to face Him, for we will be judged with the rest of the world according to our works. May your life be filled with fruit, and abounding in good works. May your hearts be clean and pure to our Lord. He is the only Man you need to delight in you. And He will if you forsake all sin and purse Him above everything and everyone.

God bless you ladies. I love you and pray for you daily.
