Christian Women And Sexiness

As, “women who profess godliness,” who claim to love Christ, we are His leaders; we are to set the example God wants His people to follow. Inwardly and outwardly, our lives are supposed to point people to Jesus, not ourselves.

Paul wrote about how we need to walk in love, and how if we imitate Jesus, thus walking in love, we will not be sexually immoral or cause our brothers to stumble.

Is it loving to use your body and looks to entice a man and manipulate him into a relationship with you? If you use your flesh to snag a guy, he’s operating in his flesh, and the bible says the mindset of the flesh is death, and that those who walk in the flesh cannot please God. If you use your flesh to reel a brother in, the foundation of your relationship is based on the flesh, and thus, you’re not pleasing God, and your fleshly mindset will lead to the death of your relationship.

I see too many sisters using their faces and bodies to capture a boy. I say boy, because if a brother is swayed by your fleshly manipulation, he’s weak or immature in the faith, and has not built up his spirit-man strong enough to resist temptation.

Ungodly enticement is dishonoring first to God, then to yourself and others. As James says, practice true religion by being unspotted by the ways of this world. Don’t be conformed to their patterns, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

See 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 and Romans 12:2.

You’re a princess of God’s kingdom. He makes you beautiful. Trust Him.

Love,

Your sister, Natasha

How To Encourage Your Man To Be Chivalrous

IMG_9274.PNG

Ladies, single and married alike: during prayer this morning God reminded me of something very important. We desire men to be chivalrous, but we must allow them to be.

I’m a strong-willed, determined, tell-it-like-it-is, lioness of a woman. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. God made me this way, HOWEVER, as a woman, there’s other attributes He gave as well that the more I grow in Him, the more they flourish.

For example, before I surrendered my heart and life to Jesus on February 22nd, 2009, I hated dresses and colorful clothes so I stuck to black mostly and didn’t want to be girley. I liked playing video games with guys, cussing like a sailor, and having guys as best friends. But after I surrendered to Jesus, without any self-enforced effort, I began to transform from the inside out. Without realizing, I started dressing more colorfully and girley. I began liking dresses and just became brighter. I didn’t even cuss anymore! The words just disappeared from my vocabulary. I didn’t like the darkness I had liked before. The sacred femininity that God designed women with, that which makes us different from men and beautiful, began to flourish.

But remember my lioness spirit? I open the door for myself. If I ask Jon to do something (who is a much more laid back and patient person than I am) if he doesn’t do it immediately, I’ll do it for him. What does this do? This disallows him
to be chivalrous. This takes away part of the way God designed him: to be needed by a woman, to be a hero for a woman.

Many women—if not all—deep in their hearts, desire to be swept up by the strong arms of a loving man who can protect them, rescue them from the dungeon, and slay the dragon. Why else do we take pleasure when our men get jealous if another man shows interest in us? We like being desired and protected by a manly figure. I think this is also why even in most lesbian and gay couples there is one person that is more masculine than the other and one more feminine. Because God designed us to be in that kind of relationship: a masculine (male) and feminine (female) one. There’s two distinct personalities, traits, and roles that promote a mutual needing and offspring. Hence: And the LORD God said, “ It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” (‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭18‬)

All this to say, ladies, if you want men to treat you chivalrously, step back and let them be! Stop opening the door for yourself, stop asking a man to help you but then doing it yourself. I’m not saying you do this for everything and just become some queen diva, but let him provide, let him carry heavy things, let him take the lead. But do this quietly, meaning, don’t command him, “Hey, open that door for me!” Just quietly stand there and smile, waiting patiently. Trust me, he’ll get it. And he’ll like it too! Your man wants a lady, not a man. That’s why he is with you. I’ll leave you with this:

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” (‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭22-33‬ NKJV)

How To Become Complete In Christ’s Love

But whoever keeps [Christ’s] word, truly in him the love of God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked. (‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭5-6‬)

The love of God can be perfected in us, and it needs to be. Jesus warned that near the end, “the hearts of many will grow cold.” He also said, “The world will know you are My disciples by the way you love one another.”

Love is the greatest witness of Christ. It doesn’t matter how much you tithe, or attend church service, or evangelize; without love, you’re not really effecting anyone or pleasing Yahweh.

Paul said, “the love of Christ compels me.” This is what sets apart the true Christian from the false one. All these “Christian” cults get incentives for preaching; heavenly rewards or even works-based salvation. They don’t go preaching because they truly love the lost and want them to know Christ. But when we allow Christ’s love to consume us, our witness is powerful. We look into the eyes of precious souls and they see and even sense the love of Jesus. They may not convert on the spot because it’s the Holy Spirit’s job to do the converting, but they’ve been touched by God.

In the beginning of my walk with Jesus, I was so ablaze with passionate love. I didn’t care what people thought; I just wanted them to know the incredible love I was daily experiencing. Yes, many thought I was a little crazy, but then they themselves ended up coming to Christ.

Many Christians are shy about sharing their faith. They want boldness, but they can’t muster it. Makes sense: boldness cannot be created from nothing. Boldness and passion are by-products of love. When you just pursue Jesus, wake up and praise Him for all He’s done, get into His Word, pray to Him, be intimate with Him, just draw close to Him, your love grows. And that love will compel you to share Christ with others.

When I first started following Christ, I would pray that He’d help me fall more in love with Him. He honored that prayer! I myself need to start praying that again, for a greater understanding of His love so that I may always be complete in Him and a powerful witness.

Ladies, if you are in a relationship or married, remember how much you pursued spending time with and getting to know that man? You made time to be with him and even put your friends and family on hold so you can just hang with this guy. I know I did that with Jonathan. We saw each other five to six times a week I would say and hang out for hours. Then, when we weren’t together, we were always talking on the phone or texting.

We need to do that same kind of intimate pursuit with Jesus. Then we will really grow in our love for Him and we won’t lack a thing. We will be so content, so filled with joy, people will think we’re crazy, but they won’t be able to deny the love. So what are we waiting for? Let’s start passionately pursuing Christ today.

Praying for you,

Natasha

Short Devotional: “Sisters, We Need A Mirror.”

Your decrees are wonderful; therefore I obey them. The revelation of Your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced. I open my mouth and pant because I long for Your commands.

Make my steps steady through Your promise; don’t let any sin dominate me. (Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭129-131, 133‬ HCSB)

Do we agree with the psalmist? Do we know how truly wonderful the word of God is? Do we grasp that whatever confusion or darkness we may find ourselves stumbling in, God’s Word sheds light and gives understanding? And are we as desperate for His Word? Do we long for God’s instruction, digging into it daily?

God’s Word doesn’t just give us understanding, it makes our steps steady. It helps keep us from sinning. Some of us are sinning without really realizing we are because we haven’t yet seen that God’s Word condemns it. We must understand as the Apostle James did, that the bible is a mirror. If we are sincere about following Christ, we will look into that mirror every day to make sure we are walking worthily of our Savior and King.

So I encourage you sisters, get into God’s Word. Let it renew your mind that you may be transformed into the princess of Christ He designed you to be. Godliness equals power. The holier you are, the more powerful your witness is to the lost. Read your bibles, pray about and obey what it says, repent if you need to, and let those lights shine today!

Are You Ready For Your Heavenly Husband?

Precious sisters, daughters of the King, royalty in the spiritual realm, heirs of all Christ died to give you, no matter what you are going through, do not fret. Be anxious for nothing, fear nothing. Let this mindset be in you: earth is not your home, heaven is.

One day you won’t have to worry about what you’ll eat or wear, where you’ll go to school, or what career to pursue. You won’t desire a husband, you won’t ever feel sadness, loneliness or physical pain. Never again will you shed a single tear.

Rejoice in hope. No matter what you are going through, as an adopted child of the Father, you never need to be discouraged. Tomorrow may be your last day and you’ll be free from every concern and hurt. Live like you’re going to heaven tonight. The reality is, you will see Christ, your husband, your savior, your redeemer, one day. Don’t get caught up in the troubles or lusts of this life. Prepare yourself as a bride does for her groom, for none of us know when we will face Him.

Live for eternity, not for now. Hold loosely the things of this world, but cling to Jesus, the only One you really need. Stay steadfast. Strengthen whatever has become weak. Return to the love you had at first.

The days are short. May every sister following this blog—myself included—hear those words, “Well done good and faithful servant, enter into your rest.”

The love and grace of Christ be multiplied to you,

Natasha

I Am Woman. I Don’t Use My Body For Power. I Use Something Else.

O, precious sisters, please pray for our country. I just read an article on 45 communist goals to overthrow America and ladies, they are totally accomplishing them. Some of them were discredit the family as an institution, encourage promiscuity and easy divorce, present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy”, undermine the bible, exalt intellectualism, get prayer out of schools, break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV, the list goes on and we totally see these things dominating our culture.

Pray for my generation, Millenials, especially, because many of us are falling prey to these things.

And lastly, pray for me and all of us sisters, that we stand firm in holiness and sanctification, setting the example, not taking part in the corruption of this world, but shining the beautiful and pure light of Christ to the lost, calling them out of the darkness and into a right relationship with the Holy Father.

I pray none of us compromises our morality and that if we have been, we repent. A sister in Christ told me once, “God delights in redeeming our mistakes.” He is O so merciful. It doesn’t matter how far off you are from the holiness of God, He can forgive, cleanse, and restore you. Run into His loving arms while they’re still open, and change your mind about your sin. Hate evil and cling to what is Good–Jesus. You can cry out to Him even now, and He will hear those who are sincere.

“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”-Luke 18:10-14

Humble yourself before Christ, and He will raise you out of the ashes and turn you into something truly beautiful.

Time is running short, and we do not want to be enemies of our loving Savior. We want to be His representatives, not these evil communist’s representatives.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 4 By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires.-1 Peter 1:3-4

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.-2 Corinthians 5:20

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.-1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.-James 1:27

May each of you princesses who follow this blog be the example of a godly woman and make disciples who “walk worthily” of the Lord like the Bible commands us to do. I love you and pray for you daily.

Becoming A Proverbs 31 Woman Day 17

Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭30‬ NKJV)

“Isn’t he charming?”

Most of us know about Prince Charming. Many of us have met him—only to find out he was really a toad. But charm isn’t just exclusive to men. I used to be a pro at charm.

Charm is fleshy, sensual, and demonic. It is usually coupled with beauty. Now I’m not saying beauty is evil, clearly, God created many beautiful things, but when beauty is used as a means of selfish gain, it is charm at work, not godliness.

I used my body to charm guys into succumbing to my selfish will: their desire and affection. This was in turn used against me by many guys who left me heart-broken because hey, God promises you reap what you sow.

Charm is deceptive. It poses as one thing when truly, it’s another. It’s like bait on a sharp hook. It looks nice, moves seductively, but in the end it pierces and fries us.

Beauty indeed fades. As a flower withers and wilts, so do our bodies begin to wrinkle and sag over time.

But a woman who fears the Lord, she will be praised. The beauty of her strong and noble heart never dwindles. She is ever shining with the glorious light of her Savior. No matter how old, she brightens any room and blesses with her presence. What draws others to her is the Spirit of Christ, not some sensual charm or fleeting outer beauty. She is adorned with love, honor, faithfulness, respect, modesty, self-control, truth, kindness, gentleness and wisdom. And unlike the beautiful woman who uses charm to take from others, the Proverbs 31 Woman operates in holiness and lovingly serves others. And for this, she will be praised.

Proverbs 31 Woman Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your beautiful and powerful word. I pray that like the Proverbs 31 Woman, I operate in the fear of the Lord. May I be renewed in mind always, never using charm or outer beauty to get what I want, or any other method of the world, but honor and glorify You in all I do. In Jesus’ name, amen.
