Dear Sincere Democrats, the Only Candidate Who Can Provide a Utopian Social Democracy

Dear sincere democrats, who truly want the impossible social democracy preached to them by their political leaders who parade themselves as saviors, please read the gospels or at least inquire of Jesus, the only One who can guarantee a perfect utopian society. Unfortunately, on this hell-ridden earth, utopia is impossible. Walls will always need to be built, penitentiaries established, laws and punishments for breaking them, security cameras, guns and a military for self defense, and a host of other protective and defensive measures from those with the free will to choose to hate good, aka God, and hate those made in His image. If you want a social democracy, a 100% safe world with no threats of evil and their attacks, there is a future city that Jesus has been preparing for millennia, the New Jerusalem, aka Zion, with a brand new earth that not one, fellow, fallible sinner in political power can ever offer you.

Here’s some of Jesus’ campaign promises:

“Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”-John 10:7-18 NKJV

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.-John 14:1-6,

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.””-John 18-21 NKJV

Do You Hold the Same Views of the Bible that Jesus does?

Would Jesus say this to you?

“Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In this same discussion, Jesus referenced the Scriptures to the religious people He was speaking to four times. Every answer He gave them for their questions, He used the Scriptures. He also validated that they indeed are divinely inspired when, in the same conversation He declared:

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”-Matthew 22:37-40

And when He said:

“Then why does David, speaking under the inspiration of the Spirit, call the Messiah ‘my Lord’? For David said, ‘The LORD said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:43-44‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He vouched for the men who wrote the Old Testament by declaring them as prophets, and validated David’s Psalms by saying David spoke under the inspiration of the Spirit. These same Psalms also say:

“The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:160‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus never quoted famous, popular, well-educated, rabbis. He never used anyone else’s words when teaching, only His own and the Scriptures. Therefore, when a teacher in a religious movement, such as Joseph Smith or Catholic leaders’ writings and teachings are upheld as on the same divinely inspired and authoritative level as Scripture, it is because of the very example of Jesus that I balk and adamantly disagree.

That a person or group of individuals’ extra biblical writings and doctrines are as or more authoritative than the Bible is probably the most dangerous false teaching that has wrecked many people’s faith in the Scriptures and because of all of these additional teachings, many “believers” and so-called Christians are utterly confused, at odds, and in disagreement. Only those who are in agreement that Scripture is the only source for divinely inspired truth are the most united and bearing the most fruit, that is, love and true conversions as evidenced by the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5) produced in their life.

I am not saying all protestants have it right–there are many sects under the umbrella of Protestant that are in error because they belittle/water-down/avoid truths in the Bible and uphold a popular man’s teachings with the same or even more authority. And there are many who claim to be non-denominational, but are actually apart of the Emerging Church heresy that discourages people from being fully confident in the Scriptures and has them disbelieving that it can be clearly understood and so again, their popular teachers’ doctrines are held in higher esteem than the Bible and many of their congregants don’t revere Scripture or care to read it much and they live their lives in opposition to what it clearly teaches, indulging in premarital sex, wild parties, drunkenness, homosexuality, immodesty, lewdness, etc.

If you’re a professing follower of Christ, I solemnly ask you to reflect on how you view the Bible. Is there another teacher(s) whose teaching you regard as just as authoritative? Do you share the same views of Scripture Jesus has? What would He say to you about your views and knowledge of the Bible?

All right, I’m annoyed. Love is NOT an emotion, people!

I’m pretty sure I’ve blogged about this before, but I think some of us need a reminder. Love is NOT an emotion. Sure, emotions can and do stem from the *act* of love, but they aren’t the real thing.

See, love is really an *action*. It is is something that continually perseveres, it’s unconditional, meaning it isn’t selfish. It does not seek its own e.g. “If you love me, you’ll have sex with me.” Sometimes our guise of love does a better job at disguising our selfishness. I know that in my life, in all the past relationships I endured before my husband, my selfishness was so invisible to me I thought my exes were always wrong. Wrong for not wanting to come over to see me when the poor guy had spent all his gas seeing me every day before then. Wrong for not doing everything I wanted him to do. Love is so not about what you get out of it. If it’s about your “feelings” then I’m so sorry friend, you’re doing it, well, wrong.

Love is synonymous with sacrifice. It says, “No matter what, I won’t give up on you,” and really doesn’t. It’s patient, it’s “long-suffering” as the Bible calls it. It’s kind, it’s not envious. It’s not a shallow butterfly feeling that eventually flies away. Remember those famous vows, “Through richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, in good times and BAD, I will stick with you.” Love is a commitment, a promise that never fails.

I know some of you reading this may very well be thinking, “My goodness hon’, wake up, that kind of love doesn’t exist.” Oh, but it does. His name is Yahweh. He sent His ONLY Son to die for you and me, because we just cannot live a perfect life–because no matter how good we think we are, we’ve still lied, taken something that didn’t belong to us, used His name in vain, lusted, and/or coveted, breaking His moral law. He sees and knows every wrong thing we’ve ever done. He knows how some of us would mock the name of Jesus, even go so far as to say He never even existed, completely shunning the sacrifice He made on that rugged cross, yet still, He sent Him to die for us. Why? So we can be condemned? No, it’s just the opposite: so that we wouldn’t be!

“For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.”-John 17: (Amplified)

That’s true love, when someone knows every single bad thing about you yet accepts you, believes in you, and desires nothing more than a right relationship with you. That kind of love does exist, in the Person of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I promise you no one will ever love you better, and guarantee there is no one on this planet who has ever done all that He did for you. No religion, no organization, no spouse, no boyfriend or girlfriend, no friend, no pet dog or cat, no one.

If you have yet to experience this kind of love, the great news is that it’s available to everyone. All you have to do is ask God to come into your life, to forgive you for your mess-ups, and confess Jesus as the One who saved you and suffered hell for 3 days before rising again to set you free from death and give you the gift of eternal life (heaven). It’s that simple. If you ask Him into your heart, He’ll come. And His love will never, ever leave you.
